172 of Titanic's 1st & 2nd class passengers were taken out to her by Nomadic on 10th April 1912.

Membership Terms

The Nomadic Preservation Society membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year.

Membership fees cover the period up until 31st December of the current year. There are no reductions for joining part way through a year.

The Society holds the right to refuse membership applications and will notify applicant accordingly.

On acceptance by the Society, the applicant will be sent a welcome letter, membership card and the current edition of Lone Star Magazine. The membership card will be valid up until 31st December of the year of issue.

Membership to the Society entitles you to up to 4 Lone Star magazines, the official Journal of the Society. These are distributed approximately every 3 months. If membership is started part way through a year then entitlement will be for the current issue and any subsequent issues for the remaining term of the membership.

The Society currently has an arrangement with the SS Nomadic Charitable Trust to allow free admission on to SS Nomadic for all members producing their NPS membership card at reception. The Trust reserves the right to change this arrangement in the future. The vessel will close for periods of time for restoration and the Society recommends checking before travelling.

Events and meetings are arranged by the Society and all members are encouraged to participate. Some events are exclusive to members only.

All members are invited to participate in the AGM, both proposing and voting for committee members in accordance with the constitution.

The Nomadic Preservation Society is a non-profit making organisation. All remaining monies left from the running costs of the society are donated to the SS Nomadic Charitable Trust to assist in the restoration of the vessel.

Postal Application forms must be accompanied by full payment. Cheques, Bankers Drafts and Postal Orders should be crossed, made payable to the ‘Nomadic Preservation Society’ and the amount in POUNDS STIRLING. Post them to:
